HUki: A New Canoe Experience

Returns to our Water Stage on Oʻahu

See a one-of-a-kind performance that explodes with Polynesian spirit, stories, and adventure. HUKI depicts the allure of the ocean through ancient myths and legends, drawing inspiration from local history and island melodies.

Join us every day at 12:40 pm at Hawaii’s only water performance venue where double-hulled canoes glide gracefully across the water, bringing a talented ensemble of dancers, singers, and islanders right to the edge of the lagoon. Feel the energy as the entire audience becomes part of the fun and festivities.

In Hawaiian, "Huki" means to pull. This powerful theme runs through the show, from the legendary story of Maui pulling up the islands, to the cherished history of hukilau in Lāʻie, where fishing nets brought the community together. "Huki" beautifully illustrates that the ocean, far from dividing us, unites us as one ʻohana (family), sharing the spirit of aloha.

What makes "Huki" truly unique is its presentation. Live musicians set the enchanting tone as native performers tell our epic tale, all while floating upon the serene waters of the lagoon on large, double-hulled canoes. It’s a visual and auditory feast that you won’t want to miss.

Arrive Early!  Gates open at 12:15 pm and show starts at 12:40 pm.
